Despite concerns about the heat our game against St Albans went ahead on Saturday 21st. We decided in advance to break at half time for a drink to avoid the worst heat, although in the end the weather was sticky but overcast. Sadly the break did us no favours as we were leading at that stage but went on to lose narrowly by 55 shots to 60. Highest winning rink was Willis Crookes, Kevin Routley and Gill Hooper.
